Dowsing with Crystals

You can use a crystal pendant on a metal chain as a pendulum – any member of the quartz family is suitable for dowsing.  It is important to dedicate your crystal pendulum for dowsing and to keep it protected when not in use.  When using the pendulum, it can move back and forward, side to side, and in circles.

A clockwise movement and counterclockwise movement can mean “yes” and “no” respectively.  To orient yourself in using a pendulum, hold the chain a few inches above the pendulum and mentally ask a question to which you know the answer.  Ask the question and notice the response of the pendulum.  This will help you establish “yes” from “no” responses.  Or you can ask the pendulum to show you “no” and to show you “yes.”

The pendulum is helpful to gain insight into the answer for any number of questions; whether a particular type of food is good for you, where to find the best place to put a new plant in the yard, or if you want to know more about a certain person just hold the pendulum over a photo of the person and ask the pendulum questions about the person.
