Defining Your Prosperity

There are numerous ways to describe prosperity.  To some it means lots of money, to others it means a bountiful life.  For others, It would appear to be an elusive concept.

Shakti Gawain proposes in her book titled Creating True Prosperity, that money is a medium of exchange we have chosen to represent our creative energy.  This is a helpful explanation of prosperity.  For instance, you spend your time and effort at a specific job and are rewarded with a salary and perhaps a bonus.  You then spend that money for the time and efforts of someone else when you purchase any service or product.  The more successful you are at transferring your personal energy into money, the more types of abundance you create in your life.

So rather than focusing on an abundance or lack of abundance financially, focus on increasing the return you receive on the expenditure of your personal energy.
