Bulging Joints on the Fingers

Bulges in the joints of the fingers can indicate areas where the flow of energy is blocked and does not penetrate from one phalange to the next.  These bulges may occur on any finger.  If the bulge is between the first and second phalanges, the bulge indicates knots of philosophy were ideas get blocked.  A pronounced knot on the second joint is called a “knot of order.” When this bulge is present, everything must be in its specific place. This can result in a terribly untidy and cluttered environment.  A small knot is a good thing whereas a large knot makes a person rather difficult to live with because the “proper” place to store an object may not necessarily be a very practical place.
